Description A cosy, warm south german restaurant with an authentic bavarian Menu; like a variety of schnitzels, Rouladen Goulash, Great Steaks, Geman Desserts and much more!

They have been around for a very long time - providing excellent traditional fare at reasonable prices. I particulary like their variety of schnitzels, spaetzel, home-made saurkraut and wide variety of imported beers. However, it is a great German place, in a very un-german neighbourhood. The suburban area of Toronto in which they are located (Markham and Eglinton Ave. E.) used to be a perfect demographic fit (25 years ago) for the restaurant, but because the area has morphed from being predominantely European outer suburbia into becoming part of the vibrantly multicultural City of Toronto (Scarborough isn't the burbs any more). That said, as a great German place, in a very un-german neighbourhood you probably wouldn't know about it, or expect to find such a place in that neighbourhood. As such, they have relied on repeat customers and word-of-mouth for survival. It is definitely worth the trek to Little Bavaria especially if you live in the eastern part of the city.
